kaci obrero

kaci obrerois a freelance illustrator, designer, and mother, with a huge craving for anything creative and always excited for new projects. Graduating from California State University Long Beach with a degree in English she thought that her future would be in writing children’s books since that was always a massive passion for her from childhood continuing as an adult.

A couple of years out of college she realized it wasnt writing children’s books she wanted to do but actually illustrating them. She began taking night classes at Art Center in Pasadena, California and in that innovative and artistic atmosphere a full fledged illustrator/designer was born. She realized in that environment that she didn’t want to just illustrate for children’s books but she wanted to create for anything, anyone, anywhere!

For the past five years working with her father she’s gotten a chance to do just that. Specializing in everything from key art, style guides, children’s books, logo designs, dvd covers, character conception, and website design. She has sound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Painter, and the intense desire to achieve above and beyond not only what her clients request but what she expects from herself.
